Andre Weston is the pastor of the Bass Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was born on a Marine base in Oceanside, California, and grew up in northern Illinois. His spiritual life and introduction to SDA beliefs was greatly influenced by his mother and grandmother’s love for God. He gave his heart and life to Jesus at the age of eleven.
In 2010, he earned a Masters degree in Public Communications from American University in Washington, D.C. He later accepted the call to ministry in 2012, and graduated from Andrews University Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity (MDiv) in 2015.
Pastor Andre comes to the Bass Memorial family from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where he served as district pastor of three churches and a church elementary school. He is passionate about evangelism, community outreach, Bible studies, youth ministries, and using social media and other communication platforms to impact God’s Kingdom.
Pastor Andre enjoys writing poems, bird watching, nature, spending time with his family and friends, and eating his wife’s home-cooked Jamaican food. He is married to the love of his life, Nicole Weston, a native of Jamaica. Nicole accepted Christ as her personal Savior at age nine at her home church in Kingston, Jamaica. She graduated from Andrews University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2007, and has served as a Physical Therapist in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Indiana, Michigan, Florida, and presently, Mississippi.
Nicole enjoys trying new foods, spending time with family, and ministering to others through music. She and her husband have recently started writing and composing songs to encourage others in the hope of God. Pastor Andre and Nicole Weston come to us as servants of God eager to share His love. They are sinners in need of a Savior, and believe in the power of prayer, and the transformational results of receiving and sharing God’s love.
